Helen gets a Tamil remake, shoot begins!

Actress Anna Ben starrer critically acclaimed hit 'Helen' directed by Mathukutty Xavier gets a Tamil remake. Starring Keerthi Pandian in the lead role, played by Anna in the original, the survival thriller went on floors recently.
Interestingly, her real-life father and actor Arun Pandian is playing the role of her father in the film. In Malayalam, the role was essayed by actor Lal, who pulled off in ease. The move will mark the comeback of actor Arun Pandian after a long gap.
Directed by Gokul of 'Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara' fame, the movie is produced by Arun Pandian under his home banner A&P Groups. The title of the film and the rest of the cast and crew are expected to be announced soon.
'Helen', a rare kind of survival thriller, is based on a real-life incident about how a young girl gets stuck in a storage room under freezing conditions.
