Director Puri Jagannath tried to promote his brother Sairam Shankar as solo hero through '1-4-3' produced and directed by himself on the banner of Vaishno Academy. However, the film failed to make it big. Later, Sairam Shankar played small time roles in a couple of films. Again Puri came out with a film 'Hello Premistara' with Sairam Shankar on his home production again. However, he chose to allocate the directorial responsibility to some other and summoned Rajkumar, a Tamil director.  Surprisingly, Dil Raju who happened to listen to the story and liked it too, came forward to be the presenter of the film.

Aravind (Sairam Shankar) is a mischievous boy. He always speaks lies but they always attract others. He reaches Hyderabad along with his mother (Sudha) and sister (Sudeepa) as he got a job there. Nandini (Sheela) works for a popular TV channel and anchors a programme called 'Hello Premistara'. Aravind gets a chance meeting with Nandini and loses his heart. He reveals his love to Nandini through the programme itself and wins her heart.

Both of them fall in love with each other. There is another boy called Arjun (Sairam Shankar), a look alike of Aravind. Once Nandini mistakes Arjun as Aravind and kisses him in a temple. Arjun also loses his heart to Nandini. Aravind gets betrothed with Nandini after getting permission from her parents (Chandramohan and Sana).

Arjun comes to know from his grandfather Ramamurthy (Vijayakumar) that Aravind is none other than his step brother. Whether Aravind was able to marry Nandini? Did Arjun plays tricks to separate Aravind and Nandini? Whether Arjun realised his folly? Answers to all these questions form part of the climax.

Performance:

Sairam Shankar: This hero had improved a lot than his earlier flicks. Though Sairam Shankar has a mark of a flop hero, he came out with flying colours in 'Hello Premistara.' and played dual roles which has two different shades like positive and negative. There is a remarkable change in his body language and showed expressions well. Besides he was able to show good ease in dances and fights. However, he still needs to improve his dialogue modulation. After the first half and before the climax, he appeared a little casual and the commitment was found lacking.

Sheela: Sheela, the heroine of the film, looked glamorous. She tried to expose moderately during song sequences. With Sheela, Tollywood got yet another promising girl as heroine which had the combination of glamour and also performance. Even as the film is on sets, she was booked in some other films, which prove that she is a nice performer.

All the other artistes including Vijayakumar, Chandramohan, Sana, Sudha, and other did justice to their respective roles. Comedy track with Sudeepa, Sunil, Ali is hilarious.

Technical:

Music: Music by Chakri is excellent to listen. However, some tunes appeared similar to several contemporary film songs in 'Pokiri, Desamuduru, Sivaji' and other such films.  One of the song is a melody and another is a routine commercial tune but three others have a mass beat. Kandikonda scripted all the lyrics and infused all kinds of masala elements besides maintaining literary values.

Camera and editing: Camera work by Bharani is good and the picturisation of songs have come out excellently. Marthand K Venkatesh should have sharpened the scissors and cut some of the scenes which are unnecessary like Sunil's visit to redlight area which has nothing to do with the main story.

Story, screenplay and direction: Perfect story, good script, gripping screenplay, director's taking and movement of t
