Heres an update on the release of 83

After the centre's decision to allow 100% occupancy in movie theatres, producers are planning the releases of their long delayed projects. Long awaited film '83' is one such projects. Makers are eyeing for a sweet spot in June. A source close to the film said, "Reliance along with the many other producers of the film have decided to release the sports flick in the month of June. It makes sense as the normalcy would have kicked in firmly by then."

Some believed that the film will release on 25th if June, the day in 1983 when India won the World Cup. These speculations were totally rejected by the source, "There's no truth to it. The makers are looking at the whole month of June as of now. It might come on June 25 or it 'might come earlier."

'83' showcases the story of Indian team that lifted the Cricket World Cup of 1983 against all the odds.
