‘జెర్సీ’ సినిమా ద్వారా టాలీవుడ్‌కి పరిచయమైన ముద్దుగుమ్మ శ్రద్ధా శ్రీనాథ్. ఈ అమ్మడు 2017లో జరిగిన ఓ ఆసక్తికర సంఘటనను ఇన్‌స్టాగ్రాం వేదికగా అభిమానులతో పంచుకుంది. ఓ సినిమా షూటింగ్‌లో భాగంగా ఈ ముద్దుగుమ్మ బైక్ నడిపే ప్రయత్నం చేసి స్కిడ్ అయ్యి కిందపడిపోయింది. దీనికి సంబంధించిన వీడియోను షేర్ చేయడమే కాకుండా వివరాలను కూడా వెల్లడించింది. కనీసం ఒక్క బైక్ రైడింగ్ షాట్ కూడా లేకపోతే ఇండియన్ సినిమాలో బోల్డ్ ఫిమేల్ క్యారెక్టర్ ఎలా చేయగలవు? అని ప్రశ్నిస్తూనే తన బైక్ రైడ్ స్టోరీని వెల్లడించింది.

‘‘జూన్ 2017లో నంది హిల్స్ దగ్గర షూటింగ్ చేస్తున్నాం. ఆ రోజున మేఘావృతమై ఉండటంతో పాటు రోడ్లు కూడా తడిగా ఉన్నాయి. డైరెక్టర్ నా దగ్గరకు వచ్చి బైక్ నడపడం వచ్చా అని అడిగారు. నాకు రాదన్నాను. నాకున్న అవగాహనతో ప్రయత్నిస్తా అని చెప్పాను. బైక్ ఎక్కి నడిపే ప్రయత్నం చేశాను. రాయల్ ఎన్‌ఫీల్డ్ భారీ బైక్ కావడంతోపాటు రోడ్డు తడిగా ఉండటంతో బ్యాలెన్స్ చేయలేక స్కిడ్ అయి పడిపోయాను. నేను పడిపోగానే అంతా పరిగెత్తుకొచ్చారు.. కానీ నా గురించి కంటే బైక్‌పై గీతలు పడినందుకు ఎక్కువ ఆందోళన చెందారు’’ అని శ్రద్ధా వెల్లడించింది.

Are you even a bold female character in an Indian film if you don’t have at least one bike riding shot? ?? It was June 2017 and we were shooting at Nandi Hills. It was an overcast day and the roads were wet. @raviperepu casually comes up to me and asks me if I know how to ride a bike and my answer was straight. “No”, I said to him “but I’ll figure it out”. And then I took out the bike for a spin, armed with the knowledge of how gear shift works and the act of balancing a two wheeler that I learnt when I was 8 years old. It was the first time I ever rode a bike and I didn’t think it was very difficult. I was relieved because I didn’t want the shots to be compromised. And then during the course of the day, this happened. Prashanth my assistant then was candidly recording. Please mind the expletives lol. Everyone rushed to help me when I fell, but deep down everyone was concerned about the bike getting scratched. Lol.
