High Court rejects Simbu's plea

Simbu had approached the Commissioner's office last week with a petition stating that cases are being registered against him in many cities for the same issue and the Supreme Court had already ruled that multiple cases on the same issue need not be entertained. The Commisioner had not taken any step in this direction and Simbu had approached the High Court.
Today the hearing on the petition came up in the High Court and the Judge dismissed the petition stating that it is not applicable to Simbu's case and he was forced to withdraw his petition. Right now approximately ten cases have been filed against Simbu in cities like Chennai, Coimbatore, Tirunelveli , Tuticorin and Trichy.
