History repeats itself with 'Naksha'

There was a period in late 80s and early 90s when films starring Sunny Deol and Jackie Shroff were huge draws at the box office. In fact the two men with strong action hero image even appeared in a few movies together, most notably being 'Vardi' and 'Tridev', both of which were hits!

Times changed and while Sunny stuck to his larger-than-life superher image, Jackie started experimenting with his roles and the two were seen together in an action film 'Farz' [2001] directed by Raj Kanwar. The film had Sunny Deol in his usual self as a cop while Jackie played a suave'n'sophisticated international terrorist who played around with gizmos.

5 years hence, the history is being repeated with 'Naksha', an action adventure by debutant director Sachin Bajaj that has Sunny and Jackie pitted against each other again. A battle between good and evil, while Sunny plays Vivek Oberoi's elder brother helping him in his endeavor to search for a secret buried since ages, Jackie is evil personified as he tries to outwit the two at every step! The film is touted for a September 8 release.

Incidentally the two are also acting together in Ahmed Khan's 'Full and Final' that is coming on 26th January next year.
