Massive! 'KGF' and 'Kantara' producer Hombale Films announces 3000 Crores investment

Popular Kannada production house Hombale Films attained global fame after their 'KGF' starring Yash and directed by Prashanth Neel became a worldwide blockbuster hit. The dream run continued with 'KGF 2' and 'Kantara' and the three films together have collected in excess of rupees two thousand five hundred crores.

Vijay Kirangandur the founder of Hombale Films has released a statement giving the good news that he is pumping in a staggering rupees three thousand crores. His statement reads "Last year has been a great and a fulfilling one for us - this was possible only due to your love and support. I thank you all and hope this relationship continues and we achieve milestones together,"

Kirangandur added "Whether good times or bad, it has been a huge medium of relief and joy. It has also been a strong carrier of our culture, tradition and history through which we have been showcasing our identity to the world at large,

He then gave the super good news to the film industry "As we embark into this new year, we promise to produce compelling content with an immersive experience that can have a lasting memory and can leave an indelible impression upon you. With this interest in mind, we pledge to invest $3000 crores in the coming 5 years for a sustainable growth in the entertainment sector,"

Hombale Films is currently bankrolling 'Salaar' directed by Prashanth Neel and starring Prabhas, Shruti Haasan and Prithviraj Sukumaran. Their upcoming projects include the Tamil film starring 'Raghu Thatha' starring Keerthy, A Sudha Kongara project, a Simbu project, 'Tyson' with Prithviraj Sukumaran and several Kannada and Telugu flicks.
