Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd.

Thursday, January 1, 1970 • Hindi Comments

Honeymoon is considered to be an exciting times for all couples who have just stepped into marital hood. While it is a paradise for most, it is also a time when one gets to know each other better....or for worse!

Made of several sweet and a little bitter moments, debutant director Reema Kagti's 'Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd' is a quirky comedy that tells the tale of 6 newly wed couples who are out on a bus journey from Mumbai to Goa, which is easily going to one ride of their lifetime.

Coming together for a 4 day package honeymoon tour, these couples interact with each other, have fun, share some great moments and also explore life and its beauty. While they are similar in some ways, they are different too in a lot of ways. And this is not just between the fellow couples but also within spouses!

Wanna meet these couples? Here you go!

Oscar Fernandez (Boman Irani) and Nahid (Shabana Azmi)

They are the oldest of all. Hailing from Mumbai, they both come from a tragic background but are now trying to rebuild each other's lives together. Ever optimistic about a better life ahead, they board the bus for some fun times together in their honeymoon at Goa. Though they do invite stares and comments due to the apparent age difference with the rest of the couples, they don't worry too much about that and laugh along merrily. And soon, they are the life of the troupe!

Partho Sen (Kay Kay Menon) and Milly Sen (Raima Sen)

Coming from Kolkata, they are the epitome of a middle class couple. While Partho aims at being the dominant self, Milly is carefree and wants to explore a new life after marriage. A little immature when it comes to morality, Partho has his own way of looking at anything which is modern or outgoing but soon finds himself on the other side of the table. And once that happens, there is no looking back!

Pinky (Amisha Patel) and Vicky (Karan Khanna)

Filmy to the core, Delhi bred Pinky comes from a world where she believes that love is what all what is seen in Hindi movies and she had to do everything possible to make her honeymoon the best as she had dreamt of! On the hand Vicky was fighting his own demon as he was quiet, aloof and constantly tense! What was the reason for that? Well, even Pinky was trying to find the same!

Hitesh (Ranvir Shorey) and Shilpa (Dia Mirza)

Hailing from Surat, Gujarat, Hitesh and Shilpa had started their honeymoon on a wrong foot. Shilpa was constantly weeping and Hitesh was clueless about the reason behind that. Assuming that all would be find once they arrive in Goa, Hitesh was hopeful about a better tomorrow and worked towards getting Shilpa in a happy state. Well, she did get happy before the 4 day trip ended, but was Hitesh the real reason for that?

Aspi (Abhay Deol) and Zara (Minissha Lamba)

A Parsi couple from Mumbai, they were the most envied couples of all. Why? Because they were just so perfect! In fact too perfect to be true! They sung together, they danced together, they shared some very beautiful moments together and last but not the least, they argued never! But what could have been the reason behind that? A couple since the age of 8, was there some secret that kept them so close together?

Madhu (Sandhya Mridul) and Bunty (Vikram Chatwal)

A crossover couple with Madhu belonging to Mumbai and Bunty being a NRI, they had met through internet. Again one of those happy couples with everything seemingly so perfect, there was something about them too which seemed too good to be true. And the way they matched with each other seemed like the relationship between two girlfriends. Oops, now what was that!?

A young, new-age and hilario
