Honor to Achievers

At the Kannada chapter of South Indian cinema industry celebration of Centenary of Indian Cinema the Tamil bigwigs like Dr Kamal Hassan, KS Ravi Kumar, P Vasu, RK Selvamani and Vikraman came up on the dais to honor Kannada filmdom achievers in Chennai Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium on Sunday morning.

Dr Kamal Hassan honored the topnotch of Kannada cinema direction department – Padmasri Dr Girish Kasaravalli, KSL Swamee, SK Bhagwan, HR Bhargava and Vijaya Reddy with a trophy and shawl.

P Vasu, Selvamani, Vikraman and KS Ravikumar honored five each of different sectors of Kannada cinema industry.

Karnataka Home Minister KJ George and national award winning actress turned Karnataka Social Welfare Minister Umasri also did the honors.
