WOW! Samantha as Nadigaiyar Thilagam

One of the most sought after actresses in the South, Samantha has Irumbu Thirai' with Vishal and Arya and Aneethi Kathaigal' with Vijay Sethupathi apart from a few Telugu biggies.

Samantha has been approached to play the role of the legendary actress Savithiri in a biopic on her life to be directed by Nag Ashwin planned as a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu. Savithiri known as the Nadigaiyar Thilagam was and still is considered as the female equivalent of Nadigar Thilagam Sivaji Ganesan. This could be the biggest film yet for the talented Sam to portray such a giant on screen.
