Gautami's sudden statement about her split from Kamal Haasan after thirteen years of living together came as a shock to Kollywood and also provided fodder for rumor mongers who continue to spin controversy theories regarding the incident. Some sections claim that Shruti Haasan is the reason for the split pointing at a tweet that she posted on the 31st of October.
