Yesteryear dreamgirl Simran, after the intense Vaaranam Aayiram` has restricted her screen appearances to mostly guest roles like the one she did in Trisha Illana Nayanthara. Now her husband Deepak is debuting as villain in a new film Odu Raja Odu` directed by the duo Nishanth Ravindran and Jithin Shankar Raja.

Odu Raja Odu` has Guru Somasundaram of Joker` fame playing the lead with Lakshmi Priya as the heroine supported by Nassar and Charushaasan in pivotal roles. The film is touted as a dark comedy and is expected to hit the screens soon.
