After 'Dirty Picture', Vidya Balan in a South Indian actress biopic?

There have been reports that the biopic of the legendary actress Savithri is being made as a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu titled Mahanati' directed by Nag Ashwin. Samantha is said to be a part of the movie through whose character the story unfolds.
Latest buzz about Mahanati' is that Vidya Balan has been approached to portray the role of Savithri in the biopic. Vidya already received a National Award for doing the role of Silk Smitha in Dirty Picture' and now if she gives her nod to this project it will become a biggie thanks to her market value. Lets keep our fingers crossed on this one.
