How 'Vazhakku Enn 18/9' happened?

Till Lingusamy watched the first copy of 'Vazhakku Enn 18/9', the forthcoming film of Balaji Shakthivel for which the 'Vettai' director is the producer, he was not aware of the story.
I had full confidence on Balaji and he proved it true. I was moved into tears after watching the film, Lingusamy says. Interestingly, it was Balaji Shakthivel who kick-started the filmy career of Lingusamy by recommending him to director A Venkatesh as an assistant.
Balaji was the one who introduced world cinema to me. His passion for movies is still the same. It has not changed a bit even after more than a decade. I salute it, says Lingusamy, who is happy and satisfied as a producer with 'Vazhakku Enn 18/9'.
On how the project happened, he says, One day, Balaji told me that he had an idea (to make a film) in the mind but could not narrate it as a story. He wanted me to produce it if I had confidence on him. I immediately said yes and the end-product is ready now.
