Although a small-ticket album, Hrudhayam Ekkadunnadi is something to be watched out for.  The five-song album is a good combination of numbers of different varieities.

Rendered by Ranjith, Vijay Prakash, Rahul Nambiar, Karthik, Hemachandra, Sindhuri, the lyrics are by the prolific Sri Mani and Bhaskarabhatla.

Artist: Ranjith
Lyricist: Sri Mani

Sri Mani's lyrics speak of the glory of love and the song is a tribute to all Romeos. Vishal Chandrasekhar's music is run-of-the-mill but the song is enlivening.  It acts as a good intro song given the genre of the movie.  Ranjith's vocals make an impact.

Artist: Vijay Prakash
Lyricist: Sri Mani

Though the lyrics do not have any poetic quality, the mundane quality of the song is sure to strike a chord.  A more enthralling musical finish would have lent the song a great attraction.  Vijay Prakash's vocals are just right for the mood of the number.

Manasu Ante Inthena   Listen here

Artist: Rahul Nambiar
Lyricist: Bhaskarabhatla

The song is just about refreshing because Bhaskarabhatla has liberally used metaphors to deliver something else.  Rahul Nambiar's sharp voice is always a treat, and this one is no exception.  The music is alright and this one is sure to impress on screen with good choreography and visualization.

Edo Edo Chilipikala   Listen here

Artists: Karthik, Sindhuri
Lyricist: Sri Mani

This song is perhaps one of the best that Sri Mani has ever written.  The music comes with good number of influences and one can be assured that the feel-good song is the film's musical raison d' etre.  Karthik has delivered a dekko and Sindhuri's impressive add-on is enjoyable.  All in all, the album's best song.

Arey Chittemma   Listen here

Artists: Ranjith, Hemachandra
Lyricist: Bhaskarabhatla

The massy number is the odd man out in this otherwise classy album.  Ranjith and Hemachandra make the song a number to watch out for, while Bhakarabhatla's lyrics mirror the psyche of the ordinary worker.  The music induces a sense of deja vu.
