Dhanush starrer Asuran, his fourth movie directed by Vetrimaran after Pollathavan, Aadukalam and Vada Chennai was released yesterday. The movie is produced by Kalaipuli S Thaanu, and is based on the novel Vekkai written by famous writer Poomani.

Asuran has been receiving positive reviews and response from audience and critics, and after being released initially in 450 theaters across Tamil Nadu with special shows, now the screens and shows have been increased. In Karnataka, Asuran was screened in 90 theaters and now five more theaters have been increased.

Shows and screens have been increased in Tirunelveli, South and North Arcot. Also starring Manju Warrier, Ken Karunas, Pasupathy, Teejay, Prakashraj, Ammu Abhirami,Balaji Sathivel, Asuran has music by GV Prakash and cinematography by Velraj.
