Humans are like virus: Puri Jagannadh

In an open letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Puri Jagannadh has bomastically said that humans are the virus to the planet. Talking about the climate change phenomenon, the 'iSmart Shankar' director noted in the letter that banning single-use plastic may not be of much use.

Saying that the substitutes for plastic (namely, paper bags) are not harmless, the director adds in the letter that even livestock contributes to greenhouse gas emissions.

He suggests that controlling the population must be the top priority. Speaking out against population explosion, Puri recommends the recycling and reusing of plastic as a better solution. Electric vehicles also find a mention in the letter.
