P Vasu of 'Chandramukhi' fame has released a video in the wake of the WhatsApp rumours that he passed away on Sunday. The gossip spread like a wildfire and it reached the filmmaker himself.

"The fake news has come to my notice after I came back from the gym. I laughed at the message. I am glad, however, that so many have concern for my well-being. I am hale and healthy," Vasu, who recently made Raghava Lawrence's 'Shivalinga', said.

In recent times, similar false rumours about P Suseela, Kota Srinivasa Rao and Venu Madhav were heard on social media.
