I am not the hero in 'America Alludu': Srikanth

Hero Srikanth on Wednesday clarified that he is not playing the lead role in 'America Alludu'. He informed that it is just a guest appearance while Kannada actor Ravi Chandran is the hero.
The film unit earlier spread the news that Srikanth is the hero in the movie and it appeared in the media much to the surprise of Srikanth. He explained that 'America Alludu' is nothing but Nagarjuna's 'Santosham' which was made in Kannada and now is being dubbed and released in Telugu.
This is 'Santosham' story made in Kannada. It is being dubbed into Telugu now. The role which Prabhudeva played in Telugu, I did it in Kannada. I am not the hero of this film. I wanted to give a clarification on this to buyers, fans and media the actors quipped.
