I condemn the arrests, lathi charging: Pawan Kalyan

Pawan Kalyan has taken potshots over the arrest of some communist leaders during a dharna in Delhi.

Issuing a statement, the actor-turned-politician said that the Jana Sena strongly condemns the arrest of Leftist leaders Ramakrishna (CPI) and Madhu (CPM) and the lathi charge on students of his party's students' wing. "We demand Delhi police & Government of India not to press any charges as they were exercising their fundamental right & We want the injured students & cadre to be given proper treatment," Pawan further said.

Earlier, Pawan confirmed that his party will ally only with the Left parties for 2019 elections. There is no alliance with any of the major parties.
