Balakot is something that voters even in villages have heard of. On February 26, the IAF launched heroic strikes in Pakistan's Balakot to avenge the Pulwama carnage.
But, stunningly, BJP MP candidate and actor Sunny Deol is ignorant of the place! Are you shocked? So are we. I don't know much about Balakot. I don't know much about Indo-Pak relations either, Deol, who is aged 62, has told a TV channel. Much to everyone's surprise actually.
I am here to serve the people if I win, he added immediately.
It seems Deol forgot the very name of the place where the IAF bombed JeM's terror camps. He is expected to do well in Gurdaspur in Punjab. But victory is not assured as Congress is said to be strong in the State.
