If you are wondering as to why Richa Gangopadhyay hasn't been seen over the years despite doing the hit film 'Mirchi' in 2013, you must know that she has permanently excused herself from films.
"For those still asking "When is my next movie?" after almost 5 years of my exit from films, let it be said that google is your friend. Short answer: I am in a new phase of life, no acting ambitions in it. I swear. Even after answering people are still "hoping" I change my mind," she re-iterates once and for all Twitter.
So, what is Richa doing these days? She found interest in academics a few years back and is now doing an MBA course at Washington University's Olin School of Business. The 'Mirapayaka', 'Saaroccharu' and 'Nagavalli' is an Indian-American who got interested in films rather accidentally. As someone who used to work for 17 hours a day during her heyday in movies, Richa, in retrospect, feels that she spread herself thin.
