"I have been taking parental lessons"- Mahat opens up on wife's childbirth

Mahat who became father recently opens up on his experience during labour and future plans. He recently took to his social media and announced the arrival of his little champ.

While talking about the life with Prachi he said "Everything happened so fast in our lives. We got engaged in 2019, had a dream wedding in 2020 and became parents in 2021. It’s been an eventful journey. Now, it’s been more than 48 hours since our baby arrived and we can’t stop admiring him,”



The couple opted for a water birth as the process is known to be gentler and the babies are lot calmer. “My parents were also living in Hyderabad for a while. So it became easier. We read up on the process completely before opting for it. I saw the baby coming out and he was looking at both of us. We teared up seeing him. It was a beautiful experience." he said.

Further he stated that "Our team of doctors and nurses was so kind. We decorated the labour room with our childhood and wedding pictures. We also decked up the room with fairy lights and played soothing music when she was in labour. Prachi, too, braved the experience like a champ. We enjoyed the process thoroughly.”

This new parents of k-town has also under went parenting lessons and many video sessions from the hospital on how to take care of the baby.

Lastly when a question on the stress of the pandemic was shot to his stated "We did go through stress on and off. We used to worry about the pandemic and we were doubly careful. Also, the birth of a baby is something that gives hope in your life. I hope things get better soon,” And also added that the name is yet to be confirmed and will have the naming ceremony in the presence of his family.
