'I want to be CM' : Kamal

Kamal Hassan has garnered widespread support and adulation from the general public in recent times through his bold political opinions and playing the nemesis to the status quo by raising important questions about government affairs.
When fans and followers of the actor were ardently awaiting the legend's political plunge, Kamal's confession of his interest to become the Chief Minister for the first time was music to ears for his supporters. Speaking further on his important decision Kamal also noted that there is a widespread misconception among the people that politics is a 'pothole'.
In the absence of an efficient leader, the public expects someone to rise up and solve their problems, Kamal said. The Ulaganayagan also added that he needed to prepare himself before transforming into a full-fledged politician and visiting people directly would be the best way to go about it. Kamal also told that he will reveal his plans for the tour very shortly.
The actor professed that he does not promise to bring change immediately, but is ready to embrace it at the opportune time. Kamal also added that it doesn't matter if he is a rationalist or atheist as his love for people is a constant and his only desire is to serve as a tool for people's well being by becoming Tamil Nadu's CM.
