Soundarya Rajinikanth has carved a niche for herself in the film industry as both a director and a technician. Recently, at an event, she shared a poignant moment regarding the ultimate recognition she received from her father, ‘Superstar’ Rajinikanth.

Describing the emotional scene that unfolded after the press screening and premiere of her film, she said:

“Appa was deeply moved after watching my film at the premiere. It was his appreciation that truly elevated the film. After the show, we headed back together to our Poes Garden residence. The moment we stepped inside, both Appa and Amma rushed toward me and gave me a very tight, warm hug.

In that emotional moment, I asked him, ‘Is this what success feels like, Appa?’ He didn’t say a word; he just gave me a gentle smile. I can never forget that smile for the rest of my life.”

Having spent many years in the film industry, Soundarya considers this victory a significant milestone in her life. Her statement, “I have been in cinema for 17 or 18 years, but this is my very first success meet,” reflects her profound satisfaction both as a daughter and an artist.
