If kids are going pan-India, why not Pawan Kalyan?: RGV

Ram Gopal Varma has made a light-veined appeal to Pawan Kalyan to make 'Bheemla Nayak' a pan-India release. Taking to Twitter on Monday, the controversial director resorted to sarcasm and humour to pull Power Star's legs.

In his series of tweets, RGV said that if Jr NTR and Ram Charan (he referred to them as 'Pillalu'), who started their careers much later than Pawan, can do pan-India movies, why should Pawan hold himself back. "If 'RRR', which tells the story of Telugu freedom fighters, can be a pan-India flick, why shouldn't 'Bheemla Nayak' explore the market on a pan-India scale?" he added.

RGV said that he had beseeched Pawan not to release 'Sardar Gabbar Singh' in Hindi but he went ahead with it. The film flopped big-time.

Getting hilarious, Varma said that his tweets deifying Allu Arjun were made when he was high on vodka, whereas his tweets dedicated to Pawan have been made during coffee time. "It shows how sincere I am," RGV added. "If 'Pushpa' could do so much in Hindi, we, fans of Pawan Kalyan, would be greatly offended if 'Bheemla Nayak' is not taken to the pan-India stage," he tweeted.
