The CAT 2018 results have been announced by IIM Calcutta on their official website earlier than expected. The exam was conducted in two sessions on Sunday, November 25, 2018. Registration to the CAT 2018 exam was done from August 8, 2018 to September 19, 2018, in approximately 147 cities.

11 students have managed to score 100 percentile, while 21 students have scored 99.99 percentile. All the 100 percentile scorers are from the Engineering and Technology background, according to reports. Also, seven of the eleven candidates who scored 100 percentile are apparently from Maharashtra. The results were leaked on January 1 on IIM’s official website, but the organizers blocked the access to the site as soon as the issue was brought to their notice.

While there were objections raised by the students regarding some of the questions that were tested, the officials clarified their queries soon after in a notice. “The objections received against questions in CAT 2018 were carefully examined by the expert panels. Those candidates who had raised objections will receive individual responses to their respective objections over their registered email ID. The answer key remains unchanged after careful examination of the various objections that had been received and examined by the expert panels,” read the notice.

The CAT scorecards are available at their official website, http://iimcat.ac.in/
