'Vijay 59' to have MGR songs

'Ilayathalapathy' Vijay who commands a tremendous fan following among Tamil movie buffs is apparently acting as a fan of yesteryear superstar Makkal Thilagam MGR in his 59th film being directed by Atlee.

Sources reveal that the film's songs composed by G.V.Prakash Kumar will have the verses of famous MGR songs.

It is to be noted that Vijay dons a cop in this film while Samantha and Amy Jackson are acting as the lady leads. The film also stars Radhika Sarathkumar, Prabhu Ganesan, veteran director J.Mahendran, K.S.Ravikumar, Azhagam Perumal and many others. The film is being produced by Kalaipuli S.Thanu.
