The renowned screenwriter Vijayendra Prasad of Baahubali' and Naan E' fame has doctored the script of Vijay 61' directed by Atlee and produced by Sri Thenandal Films. Apart from this there are more than a few amazing sentimental facts in the cast and crew.
Vijay is costarring with Samantha for the third time after Kaththi' and Theri' and similarly with Kajal Agarwal after Thuppakki' and Jilla'.
