Illayathalapathy Vijay prefers action for Pongal

It is reported that Vijay did not take a holiday on Pongal and but was promptly shooting for Theri'. While a few days ago, he did a risky underwater sequence, on Pongal day the action star is said to have jumped from a height of 100 feet bridge into the water for a fight scene without using a stunt double much to the amazement of all those who were present.
Theri' directed by Atlee has an ensemble cast comprising of Prabhu, Sathyaraj, Amy Jackson, Samantha, Radhika Sarathkumar, Mottai Rajendran and director Mahendran. Music is by G.V. Prakash Kumar and the Kalaipuli Dhanu production will hit the screens of April 14th 2016.
