'Immanuel' gets Jesy Award

Last year's hit film Immanuel has bagged the award for the best film in Jesy award instituted by the Jesy Foundation. While Mammootty gets the award for the best actor, Meena is the best actress. Shaji N Karun was named the best director.
The other awards announced were fetched by Thesny Khan, Saikumar, Vijay Yesudas, Vaikkom Vijayalekshmy,Ouseppachan , Alphonse Puthran and Aprna Gopinath. Kunchan, Kochu Preman, Miya and Rachana will receive awards for special mention. In the award distribution ceremony that will be organised soon, Sharada, K S R murthy , M N Karassery and P G Vasudevan will be honoured.
