Impose 2 weeks of curfew in India to fight Coronavirus!

India may well need to impose complete curfew across the country in order to fight the spread of Coronavirus. With many more testing positive for COVID-19, the time is now to lock down the country, commentators feel.
Says columnist Arihant, We need 15 days of curfew with totalitarian controls. One day Gandhigiri (read Janata Curfew) won’t help much. Remember, Corona spread isn’t about masses. You have to keep deviant spreaders inside with fear of law. 95% public will anyway comply. It’s these 5% dangerous imbeciles who need controls.
Some are of the view that, after Sunday's Janata Curfew experiment, the Modi government should crack the whip irrespective of whether the Sunday experiment becomes successful or not. The government shouldn't refrain from calling in the military if the need be. We can't afford to be soft anymore. India is a highly dense country where the community spread will be catastrophic, a social media user says.
