Impressive release for 'Chattakkari'

The latest movie from Revathy Kalamandhir -'Chattakkai' has bagged around 60 release centres across the state. This is fine opening number for a film with relatively lesser known stars and a debutante director. Shamna Kassim appear as 'the same 'Julie' that senior actor Lakshmy had presented in its original that came out 34 years ago. Hemanth Menon is the male lead of the movie directed by Santhosh Sethumadhavan.

The movie based on a novel by Pamman is set in the backdrop of an Anglo Indian family and talks about pre-marital sex and inter caste marriage.The songs of the movie by M Jayachandran are already big hits.
