IT raid in famous restaurants in Chennai

The Income Tax department is conducting a raid on some of the most famous restaurants in Chennai, including Saravana Bhavan and Anjappar. The raid is happening in several of their branches across Tamil Nadu.

More than 100 officials conducted the search in these restaurants, their head offices, and corporate offices. Although it has been reported that this will not disrupt the customers’ visit. Apart from the restaurants and head offices, managers are also being raided in their homes. Reports also suggest that the raid is expected to continue for another day.

Over 100 tax inspectors have been conducting the test in 32 places across Tamil Nadu since 8 AM.
