India win! BCCI announces Rs 5 Cr as team bonus

The Indian cricket team on Tuesday won the final test match of the Border-Gavaskar series against Australia at Gabba in Brisbane. The team retained the Trophy and also displaced Australia to become No.2 in the ICC Test Team Ranking.
Buoyed by their success story, the BCCI has announced Rs 5 Cr as a team bonus. Speaking on the occasion, BCCI Secretary Jay Shan wrote, These are special moments for India Cricket. An outstanding display of character and skill.
BCCI President Sourav Ganguly wrote that the win is remarkable. To go to Australia and win a test series in this way will be remembered in the history of Indian Cricket forever. The value of this win is beyond any number. Well done to every member of the touring party, he added.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that we are all overjoyed at the success of the Indian Cricket Team in Australia. Their remarkable energy and passion was visible throughout.
