Legendary actor and Makkal Neethi Maiam president Kamal Haasan has approached the Madras High Court praying for urgent redressal alleging harassment by the police who are investigating the crane accident that occurred on February 19th at the 'Indian 2' sets.  Kamal has complained that the cops are forcing him to reenact the accident scene which is causing him mental trauma.

Judge Ilanthiryaan has admitted Kamal's petition and has ordered the urgent hearing of the case and will proceed with it at 2.15 pm today.  On February 19th the shooting of 'Indian 2' directed by Shankar was going on at the EVP Studios on the outskirts of Chennai with Kamal and Kajal Aggarwal participating along with the crew.  At around 9 pm a giant industrial crane carrying heavy light equipment crashed to the ground killing three crew members.  The police have sent summons to all the crew members including Kamal and Shankar and are conducting enquiries.
