February 19th was a dark day in Tamil cinema as the tragic crane accident killed three crew members at the 'Indian 2' shooting spot at the EVP Studios on the outskirts of Chennai. Kamal Haasan, director Shankar and leading lady Kajal Aggarwal escaped unhurt miraculously. The cops had summoned all those present on that day at the shooting spot for inquiry.
This morning Kamal Haasan appeared at the Central Crime Branch office and the probe went on for close to two and a half hours. Kamal when leaving the premises told newspersons that he had recounted what happened on that fateful day to the police and the measures to be taken to avoid such tragedy in the future were also discussed.
