Indian team all-rounder announces retirement from all forms of cricket

Team India all-rounder and two-time World Cup winner Yusuf Pathan has announced his retirement from all forms of cricket. I thank my family, friends, fans, teams, coaches and the whole country wholeheartedly for all the support and love, Yusuf Pathan captioned his post.
Yusuf played 57 ODIs and 22 T20Is and was a part of several winning matches for India. The cricketer made his debut in the T20 World Cup final as a replacement for Virender Sehwag, who had opted out of the match with an injury. India went on to win the match, where Yusuf scored an 8-ball 15, including a six and a boundary. Yusuf was also part of India's 2011 World Cup win, where he participated in paying tribute to Sachin Tendulkar, who had played his final international match. The time has come today for me to put a full stop to this innings of my life. I officially announce retirement from all forms of the game. Winning two World Cups for India and lifting Sachin Tendulkar on my shoulders were some of the best moments of my career, the former all-rounder mentioned in his statement.
Yusuf won two IPL titles under Gautam Gambhir with the Kolkata Knight Riders in 2012 ans 2014, as well as with Rajasthan Royals once in 2008. I still remember the day when I wore the India jersey for the first time. I didn't only wear the jersey that day, but I took upon my family's, coach's, friends the whole country's and my own expectations on my shoulders as well, he added.
