Indian cricketer Vijay Shankar announced yesterday that he has got engaged. Vijay Shankar posted a set of photos with his fiancee Vaishali Visweswaran. Fellow Indian cricketers KL Rahul and Yuzvendra Chahal congratulated the all-rounder.

Vijay Shankar uploaded two photos with his fiancee Vaishali Visweswaran and captioned the post with a ring emoji. KL Rahul, Yuzvendra Chahal, Shreyas Iyer, Karun Nair, Abhinav Mukund and Jayand Yadav congratulated Vijay Shankar, who had been a part of India's squad in the 2019 World Cup.

Vijay Shankar has played 12 ODIs and nine T20Is for Indian National side and was selected in the 2019 ICC World Cup India squad. Vijay Shankar will next play for the SunRisers Hyderabad in the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League which begins in UAE on September 19.
