Indian jeweller in UK murdered by youngsters who tried to rob him

In a shocking news, two men have been convicted of murdering a 74 year old man in England’s Stoughton, Leicestershire. The two men have been identified as Charles Mcauley and Thomas Jervis who reportedly kidnapped and tortured the victim.

Ramniklal Jogiya was a jeweller by profession who was kidnapped in a van by the criminals, beaten up for information and then dumped in a country lane. Jogiya’s phone was thrown away and he was tortured to such an extent that his biceps were ripped away from the bone.

One of the criminals Jervis was sent back to the shop in a bhurka disguise to loot the jewels, but was defeated by a 12 hour time-lock. The men actually wanted information from Jogiya on how to enter the shop, switch off the burglar alarm, access the safe and steal the 200,000 euros which was in the safe.

In a statement tot he press,the Jogiya family stated that her ‘father was a true gentleman. He was kind, friendly, loyal, unassuming, generous and well-respected in his community." Three youngsters namely Jervis, Mcauley and Reeve have been nabbed by the police and will receive their sentence on Spetember 10th.
