India's Waterman joins Suriya for a noble cause

Actor Suriya's Agaram Foundation played an active role in the rain relief activities in Chennai and Cuddalore. Now they are focused on rehabilitation activities and preserving water resources of the Tamil Nadu state.

Agaram Foundation has organised a two day conference on January 2 and 3, 2016 (coming Saturday and Sunday) to discuss and devise ideas to preserve the ecosystem and water resources of the state to avoid such disasters in future , Rajendra Singh fondly addressed as India's Waterman will be participating in this conference and offer his guidance.

Rajendra Singh is credited with building 4,500 small dams and ponds which saved the life of thousands of rivers which were about to dry out. He has won the prestigious Raman Magsaysay award in the year 2001 and and Jamnalal baj award in 2005.
