The grand IPL festival has begun in Chepauk Stadium, Chennai with Royal Challengers Bangalore locking horns with Chennai Super Kings and much to the delight of the crowd the home team won comprehensively by seven wickets.

While the CSK captain M.S. Dhoni fondly known as Thala Dhoni won the toss and elected to field the crowd erupted in thunderous applause. But a bigger cheer came for none other than Superstar Rajinikanth who arrived at the stadium to watch the encounter. Chants of "Thalaivar" was heard throughout.
