Veteran actor-filmmaker R. Parthiban pulled of the herculean task of shooting his latest film 'Iravin Nizhal' in a single shot. The unique thing is that it is a non linear subject and the entire film was reshot 23 times to get the final footage. The film has been appreciated for its achievement and is getting recognition and praise among critics and fans.

YouTuber, Blue Sattai Maaran known for his scathing criticism of films by top heroes of Tamil cinema has given a negative review. Though he praised the effort of Parthiban and team he trashed the story and screenplay.

Maaran went further by stating that Parthiban's claim of 'Iravin Nizhal' being the world's first non linear single shot film is false. According to him the Iranian film 'Fish and Cat' with a length of two hours and twenty minutes should be taking the crown of the world's first non linear single shot film.

Parthiban has strongly reacted to Maaran's scathing criticism writing on Facebook that he always believed that criticisms are atonement. While those fans watching the film are hailing that it is worldclass, Blue Sattai Maaran is opining otherwise and the actor director has requested his fans to watch the film after watching his negative review.

Parthiban has also shared that he showed 'Iravin Nizhal' to India's top film critic Saibal Chatterjee who confirmed that the film is the world's first non linear single shot venture. Even in Google, 'Fish and Cat' does not come up as a non linear film.

Parthiban lamented that Maaran could have pointed this out to him when he personally called him a fortnight ago to watch 'Iravin Nizhal'. He also raises doubt that Maaran may be irked with him that he did not watch the latter's directorial venture 'Anti Indian'. He concludes that he still respects his social media attacker as a director.
