'Iron Man' becomes 'Dr. Dolittle'

British author Hugh Lofting created Dr. Dolittle` a physician who can talk and communicate with animals. The famous lead character has been portrayed on screen by Rex Harrsison in the Oscar Award winning 1967 film and much later by Eddie Murphy in Dr. Dolittle` (1998) and its sequel in 2001.

Iron Man` Robert Downey Jr. has signed on to play the loveable physician in 'The Voyage of Doctor Dolittle' written and directed by Stephen Gaghan, who has a screenwriting Oscar to his credit for the film Traffic`. The rest of the cast and crew details will be out soon.
