An essential element for a film to click at the box office is the chemistry between its lead actors and mostly between the hero and the heroine. This year we have witnessed Irrfan Khan's crackling chemistry onscreen with his heroines in three of his films. The ace actor has re-invented himself as a romantic hero and has been absolutely loved by audiences.

It has been a fantastic year for Irrfan. While he was always been recognized as a powerful actor, this year people have seen him in a different light. Audiences have seen him in various genres of films i.e comic role or a serious cop. However the actor seems to have re invented himself as a romantic hero this year. He has floored the audiences with his subtle romance in his recent outings be it 'Piku' with Deepika, 'Talvar' with Tabu and 'Jazbaa' with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Even while his roles have the subtle romance he yet brings to table powerful acting and is seen essaying a different kind of a lover in all his outings.
