Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuthu 2 goes on floors

It was recently announced that adult comedy Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuthu, that featured Gautham Karthik, Vaibhavi Shandilya, Chandrika Ravi, and Yaashika Anand, is all set for a sequel. The latest news is that the shooting of IAMK 2 has begun.
Despite controversies and negative reviews, IAMK emerged successful at the box-office. The director, Santhosh P Jayakumar reportedly mentioned that the sequel will not be a continuation of the original and that it will be a stand-alone project, featuring a new cast. Sources close to us have informed that debutants Karishma and Akriti will be playing the lead roles, while Daniel Annie Pope, Ravi Mariya, and Motta Rajendran will feature in pivotal roles. The movie will be produced under the Flying Horse Pictures banner.
Santhosh, who last directed the rom-com Ghajinikanth, starring Arya and Sayyeshaa, is currently filming 'Pulanaivu', an investigative thriller starring Aravind Swamy as a detective.
