Vijay Sethupathi officially gives exact update of whether he is in Leo or not

Vijay Sethupathi one of the most celebrated actors amongst the current generation is also one of the busiest in the country. He played the very important antagonist role of Santhanam in Kamal Haasan's mega blockbuster 'Vikram' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.

Lokesh is currently directing 'Leo' starring Thalapathy Vijay and the most debated speculation in social media is whether the film belongs ot the LCU (Lokesh Cinematic Universe) or not. This means that actors and storylines of the director's previous films 'Kaithi' and 'Vikram' will be included in 'Leo'.

A few weeks back Rathnakumar the writer of 'Leo' posted a photo of himself wearing the cooling glass worn by Vijay Sethupathi in 'Vikram' and wrote "Never Say Die". This gave rise to speculations that Vijay Sethupathi will be returning in 'Leo' as Santhanam. There were also reports that the Makkal Selvan has allotted three days to Lokesh Kanagaraj to give voice over for the new film. Read : WOW! Meanwhile Vijay Sethupathi on Monday attended as chief guest in an event held at a private medical college in Perambalur. When asked about his appearance in 'Leo' he categorically denied acting in the much awaited film and also warned his fans not to believe in these rumours which are a figment of social media imagination.

When asked about Rathnakumar's post, Vijay Sethupathi opined that he would have done it for fun that has made people think otherwise and he should clarify on it. The versatile actor who was praised for his Hindi debut webseries 'Farzi' is currently acting in Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan' directed by Atlee and his 50th film 'Maharaja' directed by Nithilan Swaminathan.

Vijay Sethupathi's upcoming films include 'Merry Christmas', 'Gandhi Talks', 'Viduthalai Part 2' and 'Mumbaikkar'. He is also doing his first web series in Tamil directed by Kaaka Muttai Manikandan and is in talks for various other projects in multiple languages.
