The wedding of Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal is believed to go down in history as one of the most expensive weddings in the world, with an estimated cost of $100 million or Rs. 720 crore. The couple will tie the knot on December 12 in Udaipur.

“The week-long extravaganza is estimated to cost about $100 million, according to people familiar with the planning. To put the figure in perspective, Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s wedding 37 years ago reportedly cost $110 million in today’s dollars,” according to a report.

After the wedding, the couple will move to Gulita building, a $64 million diamond themed mansion in Mumbai. The pre-wedding celebrations saw the attendance of former US First Lady Hillary Clinton and a performance by popular American singer Beyonce.
