Correction in the area of harshness, rough scenes, change in dubbing to the protagonist Bhumika Chabria, given attention to acting, editing and screenplay - this film could have been better.

For a first time producer Vijayakumar Chabria it was the duty of director RP Krishna to make it smooth and appealing. On the grounds of reasoning director fails and his first attempt deserved to be better. Giving rough look and anger to hero is OK because he has served 14 years in the prison. When he has the sweet looking heroine care should have been taken to project precisely.

Naadha (Bhumika Chabria) daughter of a cop takes interest in uniting the disenchanted youth Bandi Krishna (Santosh) with his dumb mother who is a flower seller in front of the temple. Why Nadha should do such a work? There is no past history. Director is not worried to give a clue. When Nadha says to the mother of Bandi Krishna that she is her `Bahu' she obliges. Why Bandi Krishna mother is upset with her son? It is because Bandi Krishna killed his father was raping a girl in front of his mother and sister. Youth in anger chop his father and sentenced to 14 years in jail.

It is only after return of Krishna he is given support by the father of Nadha a cop. All is now well when Nadha expresses her love for Bandi Krishna.

Nadha's maternal uncle (Raviteja) is waiting to marry Nadha and as expected the forcible marriage and big fight that ensues does not put the curtains down. Nadha kills herself for reaching a point of no return in life. She begs her boy friend to smash her face so that one would identify her. Carrying the dead Nadha on the shoulders Bandi Krishna also kills himself on a railway track.

`Ishta' means `liking'. Only the songs are likeable. The entire story and screenplay is opposite to the title.

Santosh has good fire in him but not properly used by the director. Just because he is rugged he is given quarter bottle - a wrong message.

Bhumika is not fit for heroine. She is short in height and good only in song portions. Raviteja is a big waste. Srikanth Heblikar is fine.

Two are lovely tunes in this film from Indrani Chabria and Mahadev cinematography is average.

This film needed a strong polishing in the script and screenplay.
