Wait a minute. The Kannada Rajyotsava has not come in April month. It is on November 1 every year. This ‘Rajyotsava’ is a tribute to Dr Rajakumar – as his death anniversary and birth anniversary is in12 days gap (he died on April 12, 2006 and born on April 24 1929) the prestigious Vivid Bharathi a branch of AIR – 102.9 FM is giving tribute for Dr Rajakumar on four Fridays from morning 9 am to 10 am.

Journalist BG Ravikumar gives the commentary on the life of Dr Rajakumar with voice of Dr rajakumar, Chi Udayashanker and others.

On April 24 is ‘Rajaantaranga’ the people liked films of Dr Rajakumar are part of this broadcast in AIR. This program kick start from ‘Bangarada Manushya’ and research journalist NS Sridhar Murthy will be presenting it. KT Krishnakanth is anchoring it.
